A leaky fauced. Do you know how annoying one drop at a time is. Richard has promised to fix this problem this weekend. Of course, i had to show you the gunky faucet. Remeber: it all takes time and money to get every little project fixed!
WWC-- 1 and Water
This week's challenge was the number 1 and water.
One (1) inch of rain water this weekend. Technically over 1 inch but you get the picture. I bet Farmer's Wife loved it.

Playing princess--again. but this time mommy played. I figured, hey, I'm never gonna wear this dress again and I'm sure Avery will want her own wedding dress so, here we are. Maybe I'll finally loose that extra 30 pounds and be able to zip the damn thing up! Hope everyone had a great weekend. Our Sunday was spent mostly inside because of the rain, high winds and cold front.

WWC (Weekly word challenge) from Tink's site. I thought I'd give it a try. This weeks words were five and wind. Did you know our city is considered the second windy-ist city in the nation. This weekend was WindFest and in May is the National Sailboard Regatta.

These are all of the "5's" I found between my house and my son's school at the end of the block. Some are from homes, license plates, cars, street signs, etc. No two are alike. this kinda reminds me of a Seseme Street thing where they show the number of the day is many different formats.

Wind blowing a tree--pretty basic but its hard to get creative with wind.

814-WIND to call and get weather updates.

Even the evening news has the wind speeds and wind gust updates. Note our city has 29 MPH winds that day. Lovely!
My darling son, after he breaks wind!!!!!!! Gotta love little boys. BTW, he got in trouble today using he new word, learned friday night while hanging with a friend and his big brother--ASS.
So those of you who think I missed pictures during the weekend, i snapped these all weekend.

- Payne: "I'm gonna break this stick and shove it up your ass."
- Me: "Payne, that is not nice. Your computer time is limited today to 20 minutes."
- Payne: "Nice ass."

Crappy Picture Day
Avery sleeps like a babe in the womb with her hands/arms up close to her head. Cracks me up. The picture is terrible quality today but it was the only one i took today. Crappy because i changed settings so that i could let more light in the lens but the result was that any movement makes the picture blurred because the camera had not fully snapped the picture. Oh well.

Our daily mode of transportation. We walk Payne to school, do our 3 mile walk then walk to pick up Payne from school. Note the dvd player for morning movies! Also stashed is blankie, drink, drawing magnet board, stretchy bunny, cell phone, ipod, head band, camera and mosquito netting. I never thought I'd use a stroller this much.
I'm so lazy
So, before you tell me how lazy I've been, yes I know. But today Payne's first grade class went to the zoo. It was spring at the zoo. A really great time of the year to go. It was not hot so the animals moved around a lot. Lots of baby animals too. We saw several mamma ducks with the new baby ducks, a monkey with a brand new monkey on her back, so new that it did not yet have fur, several baby gazells, etc. Here are a few pictures..
Mamma kangaroo. Check out her pouch. We were able to see the little joey moving around in there.
